Successful September Starts a Fantastic Fall!

The Collision, book two of The Impact Series, was published on September 13 and was celebrated at a fun launch party on the roof of The Watergate in Washington D.C. The party was hosted by an amazing friend and attended by many Impact Series readers.

On September 23, I did a book signing at Mount Pleasant Art All Night which was very well attended despite extremely windy weather. It was great to meet so many neighbors and avid science fiction readers.
Regarding windy weather, my heart goes out to Florida and all the people, pets, and wildlife suffering as a result of Hurricane Ian. I grew up in Florida and lived there for many years as an adult and have sheltered in place and/or evacuated several times and it is very stressful. Hurricanes are getting bigger, faster, and more dangerous and I hope more is done to stop global warming and prepare communities to better withstand extreme weather. If you are reading The Impact Series, you know environmentalism is an important theme in the novels and Florida an important place.
The Shooting continues to garner more excellent reviews and ratings and The Collision, in just a few weeks, has already received awesome reviews - thank you!
